the fight was fake. maybe.

The New York Post says today that Joaquin Phoenix faked the fight in Miami Wednesday night when he jumped into the crowd at one of his rap shows (this one here).  But that doesn’t make any sense because that’s the sort of thing someone would do if they were only pretending to be a rap oh okay I get it.  I see what they’re saying.

…our sources say the scuffle was "completely staged" for the documentary Casey Affleck is doing on Phoenix's new career as a rapper.  "It was a fake fight," said our witness. "Nobody threw a punch. They were just holding onto each other."

Aww, that sounds really sweet.  Looks like the only monster that fan got attacked by was the Tickle Monster.  *goochy goochy goochy* *oh tee hee hee*
