Breastfeeding Shaming Runs Rampant

You can’t visit a diner, public transit station, or Dick’s Sporting Good store in this nation without seeing nursing mothers cowered before abusive throngs There are roughly eight million suckling moments on any given day in this country. Up to a quarter dozen of those eight million are subject to awkward glances, the worst kind of shame. Like Conner Kendall who was photographed at a Friday’s whipping out her tit to nourish her child on all you can eat apps residue. Some guy with very poor instincts posted a photo of her child and bare breast to his Facebook account asking his friends how he should feel about this. My response would’ve been to ‘unfriend’ immediately and destroy all traces of any previous connections to this guy I always suspected was taking Polaroids at AYSO matches from the trees. Somehow the dude’s Facebook post made it’s way back to Conner Kendall who re-posted it with her victim of breastfeeding shaming statement and awaited the tidal wave of supportive comments.

A few people including women had the intestinal fortitude to advise Kendall to perhaps put a cloth over her breast when feeding or buy one of the ten thousand tops K-Mart sells for ladies to provide some discretion. Kendall pointed out that her baby can only suckle fully when her entire tit is exposed at mid-tier chain restaurants, clearly indicating that Kendall is a fibbing mommy reveling in her newfound role as udder martyr. This breastfeeding shaming needs to stop. It’s leading to a backlash of bored female activists forcing the issue. It was cool when it was supermodels, but now it’s devolving into the common boobs. We’re but a few steps from true horror. Limit your demands to five points and we have a deal. Surrender is the under-appreciated option.
