BMX racer and eventual paralysis victim Robbie Maddison went to Tahiti and surfed his motorcycle on some giant waves because we’re out of ideas. The bike had been modified to float on water, making it more of a glorified wave runner, but it still looked pretty cool if you’re twelve. Maddison succeeded in opium dreamed mission. His next venture will be tightrope walking while shoved inside a kayak or possibly jumping out of an airplane in catcher’s gear. Whatever makes for a fairly appealing two minute video before you start wondering why. It’s safe to say that if any of us could do this, we wouldn’t. I’ll be at the bar. Enjoy dirtbiking on the mighty South Pacific. The natives love that calming noise and the exhaust fumes. Weirdo.
