Santa Body Shames Fat Kid

December 9, 2016 | WTF | matt-ralston | 0 Comments

If Santa is telling you to lose weight you might have a problem, given that he himself is clinically obese. A nine year old North Carolina kid named Anthony Mayse went to visit Santa at the mall and told him he wanted an iPod Touch. Santa went through the motions, and then according to Mayse:

“When I got done, he said ‘lay off the hamburgers and french fries’, and that really just disrespected me and I felt awful. And I went out and I started crying because I just felt so bad.”

Instead of nicely suggesting that Santa might have a point, Anthony’s mom responded by trying to get him fired from his gig at the mall. Nice deflection. It didn’t work, but Santa did apologize. For his part, Anthony responded by tearing up the photo he took with Santa like a little emo bitch. The kid is only nine, but he seems like a spoiled brat. It sucks he was triggered, but maybe he needed a little kick in the butt. Probably more so than an iPod Touch.

A mall Santa probably shouldn’t be remarking on the weight of young children, but maybe he figured enough was enough. His mom is clearly plying him with consumer bullshit and McDonald’s. It’s unclear where the dad is but from the looks of this story, not around.

That leaves only one man, and he’s a saint. You can’t get presents when your dead of a heart attack. How can Santa be so wrong, and so right? Regardless of your opinion on his manners, this kid needs to lay off the fucking burgers and fries.

Start with that before you start phoning the HR Department, shitty mom.
