Divorce is complicated and sad. And it only gets worse when your soon to be ex-wife is trying her hardest to kick you out of your home like the parents of a newly turned eighteen-year-old who talks back too much. Audrina Patridge is going through that and more problems with husband Corey Bohan whom she’s only been married to no longer than a year. She says that he’s physically and emotionally abusive. She claims he punches himself in the head with fists and metal objects while threatening suicide often. Which sounds more like he needs a restraining order for himself against himself.
The former ‘Hills’ star filed to divorce Corey Bohan on Wednesday, and according to docs the split appears to be triggered by a series of incidents she considers menacing and emotionally abusive. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Audrina says the violence began in mid August when they argued about her accusing him of cheating. She says she was holding their daughter, Kirra Max, when Corey pushed her back. Audrina says he then emptied out her backpack and purse, and began punching himself in the head … and threatening to bash himself in the head with a metal canister if she left. She says Corey had threatened suicide before — in July while she was out of town on a business trip.
If her allegations are true Audrina has terrible taste when it comes to picking men. Bohan is an adult that rides bikes for a living. You’re either a city messenger or a professional BMXer and both positions don’t have a long shelf life. Dave Mirra had his own video game and still off’d himself. My best advice for her would be to make sure her next husband drives a car to work. Then you can just worry about normal married people problems. Like him wanting to sleep with your sister. Suicide threats are major league mental issues that should be treated with caution.
