At least 33 people are now dead and another two dozen wounded after a lone shooter walked the campus of Virginia Tech yesterday, killing indiscriminately. In the wake of such tragedy, people always wonder what steps could have been taken to prevent it. Luckily for us, Hollywood's favorite cult Scientology has it all figured out. Whew! Calling themselves the CCHR (the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, which is a front Scientology uses to disseminate Scientology propaganda, much like how they called themselves National Mental Health Assistance to trick the Red Cross into working with them after 9/11) they issued this press release yesterday:

what’s fucked up is the police could’ve prevented the second shooting. They let the kids go to class thinking the gunman left the campus. Why wouldn’t they keep the school on lockdown until they find the gunman? That’s 30 lives that could’ve been saved.
It’s much more dangerous for the world that Scientologist mind conrol ray-guns aren’t legislated. There should be a waiting period of at least 3 months and the person should be assessed by a phychologist before being able to join that sinister cult. Anyone wanting to join would be put on a watch list, and should probably be neutered.

There was a respectable looking gentleman from the Virginia Defense League(?) interviewed on the BBC last night and he said that if the students had been armed (with guns) then they would have been able to defend themselves.
