Jesse Williams who stars on Grey’s Anatomy meaning that your wife or girlfriend knows who he is but you assumed he was a forward for the Pelicans, made a pointed speech about racism during his BET trophy acceptance for being black. Though not black enough that half the crowd wasn’t yellow bones shaming him under their breath. Justin Timberlake Tweeted a message of support for Williams that Twitter trolls used to lash out at Timberlake for cultural appropriation.
Shelly from da block makes a good point. A little rhythm is a crime. A lot of rhythm is a joy forever. Also, your mom is white, though not as white as Jesse Williams’ Swedish mom.
Timberlake fired back with something he assumed was charming and sensitive, forgetting that everyone on Twitter is borderline sociopathic with rage issues and a shitload of free time.
Oh, you sweet soul. The more you realize that we are the same, the more we can have a conversation.
That enraged people with the magical wisdom of being black even further. Timberlake was forced to apologize and admit that responding on Twitter is like sticking your dick in a blender. Only the very briefest of first seconds feels good.
As much as Justin Timberlake makes black-inspired music and has black friends and features black music artist on his records and vice-versa, the BET Awards isn’t the time to step in. It’s Black Entertainment Television. It’s designed specifically to be racist. Not the kind where anybody gets killed. The uplifting kind or racism that makes up for other racism and leads to a general feeling of peace and detente across the world. Still in the early stages of product testing.
As a celebrity it’s super important to ask yourself whether or not being rich and famous and young and getting tons of hot pussy and living in mansions is enough for you. In your next life you can come back black and impoverished. No, you don’t still get the mansions or the pussy. It’s the lack of rhythm thing.
