Aaron Sorkin Pens Letter To Daughter

Aaron Sorkin wrote a letter to his wife and young daughter and for some reason published it on Vanity Fair’s website instead of sticking it on the fridge. Addressing something to two people you’re related to and then blasting it out to the general public seems to contradict the initial purpose. Sorkin was pissed that Trump won the election, and it is pretty embarrassing. If Australia elected Yahoo Serious we’d lose some amount of respect for them. The president used to be dignified. Now he’s going to wear a cheap red baseball cap on the tarmac to keep his hair from getting blown off. Sorkin lamented the current state of affairs: 

“Grandpa fought in World War II and when he came home this country handed him an opportunity to make a great life for his family. I will not hand his granddaughter a country shaped by hateful and stupid men. Your tears last night woke me up, and I’ll never go to sleep on you again.”

Ironically you’re putting anyone reading this to sleep. A Trump presidency certainly presents some challenges, but sanctimonious fatalism isn’t going to change anything. Let us know once you actually get involved in the solution outside of insisting on maintaining syndication rights for your left leaning shows about the media and politics. Smart idea by the way. Trump wishes he’d thought of that.

.A lot of people voted for Trump just to spite annoying liberals and politically correct pussy-men. Keep this bullshit up and you might secure him a second term. Condolences to your daughter, clearly she’s going to have a rough go of it. I’d suggest private schools and a trust fund to ensure she best understands the needs of the poor and disenfranchised.
