Lindsay Lohan is probably not as loaded as you assumed. So that ballpark figure of the sum of her funds being at least enough to rent a room in her mother’s humble abode when she’s done couch surfing strange men for a place to stay in the Middle East was way off. Even if she wanted to come back she couldn’t because the house belongs to Chase now. Danielle Bregoli paid off the remaining amount due for her mother’s house and a notable, once A-list actress didn’t have enough money to keep a roof over her mother’s head. I don’t know if I could ever watch The Parent Trap again knowing that the same little girl grew into such a horrible young woman who couldn’t save her mom from homelessness.
Dina Lohan has lost her home to foreclosure. A New York judge has ordered that the 55-year-old’s Long Island, New York, house, where her daughter, Lindsay Lohan, grew up, should be sold at a public auction within 90 days. The order comes as a result of Dina reportedly defaulting on her mortgage and failing to respond to the foreclosure lawsuit. As of December 2017, she owed $1,492,784 on the property, which was due for payment in October 2017.
Lindsay did attempt to save the house once, basically throwing $40,000 down the drain because the house eventually ended up in foreclosure.
In 2012, police were called to the home after the Mean Girls actress and her mom were involved in an altercation. “At 8:06 a.m. [police] got a call for a domestic disturbance. There had been some sort of verbal dispute between Lindsay and her mother that took place in a limo that was coming from New York City.” No arrests were made and the mother-daughter duo were seen hugging outside of the property shortly after. They appear to have had another squabble in January 2016, when Lindsay wrote “sometimes it sucks when your mom isn’t there for you,” in a since-deleted social media post.
It looks like Lindsay will be getting the last laugh if she still hates her mother for not being there. Maybe her mother is neglectful. Or maybe she was just tired of a teenage Lindsay always asking visit the family doctor to cure her reoccurring cases of syphilis and other STDs she swore she contracted from public toilet seats.
