The first full length trailer for Quentin Tarantinos ‘Django Unchained’ was released last night, giving us our fist look at Samuel L. Jackson as Leonardo DiCaprios house n-word and Jonah Hill as Wait Why Is He In This.
Still, the movie looks like a lot of fun, and reminds me of the time I used my karate to protect a town from an evil oil barren who tried to steal their land. He thought taking my wife and daughter hostage would stop me. He thought wrong. Hi-Ya!
‘Movie 43’ is actually 25 short films, so it’s not really a movie, or the number 43, but it stars essentially everyone with a SAG card, including Halle Berry, Emma Stone, Anna Faris, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Chloë Grace Moretz, Gerard Butler as a leprechaun, Stephen Merchant, Kate Bosworth and Elizabeth Banks, and they all do horrible things. Except for Emma Stone sucking off a hobo disguised as a wizard. If Kieran Culkin has a better plan to get magic beans, I’d love to hear it. It’s easy to sit back and criticize after the fact Kieran.

A new international trailer for ‘Skyfall’ is out today, with lots of new footage and a slightly longer clip from the scene above, which is the most James Bond thing James Bond has ever done. There’s also a Chinese guy at the end who barks at you like he’s some kind of demon, and obviously you wouldn’t want to miss that.

‘Taken 2′ finally came out with a trailer today, with that Russian guy who is a villain in every movie vowing to get revenge on Liam Neeson for killing his friends in ‘Taken 1’. Though “revenge” might not be the best word. Those guys did kidnap Liam Neesons daughter and try to sell her as a sex slave. I don’t know how Russian Bad Guy expected Liam Neeson to react but he seems pretty surprised that he would be upset. Maybe we should sell Russian Bad Guys daughter as a sex slave, see how he likes it!
Fox released a second international trailer for ‘Prometheus’ last night, and it explains much more about the story and characters than any of the previous trailers.
WHAT WE LEARNED: Charlize Theron is the icy corporate person sort of in charge of the whole thing, some aliens are cobra sized and bitey, and the great Idris Elba is not so great at a Texas accent.
WHAT WE ALREADY KNEW: I sure would like to fuck Charlize Theron.
